A proposed luxurious 59-bed care home providing accommodation for residents requiring nursing, dementia, or residential care, along with access from Cabourne Court, dedicated care home car parking, landscaped gardens, and separate refuse/recycling facilities plus the creation of additional car parking spaces for the medical practices.

The provision of a 59-bed care home increases the housing options for the elderly while creating opportunities for them to remain in their local community, yet with the care and safety they require. Due to the home’s proximity to local facilities and connections, the proposal offers increased healthcare, employment, and economic opportunities.
The approach to the design and appearance of the building draws heavily on the existing character of other development in the area. There are several key design features which have been incorporated into the design, reflecting the principal character of the area.
