With over 23 years of architectural experience in the care home sector and having designed in excess of 30 care homes including projects in green belt locations, new build care facilities, day centres, specialist acquired brain injury units and extensions and refurbishments, in 2011 Mike Hay established HAY ASSOCIATES.

 

HAY ASSOCIATES are a multi award-winning architectural design consultancy with a reputation for making environments that are well created with simple forms that have a strong sense of place.

 

Our work is developed through a rigorous process of examining design-orientated solutions with a particular emphasis on an innovative approach which responds to the needs of the end-user and the inherent qualities of the site to provide inspirational settings to live, work and play.  

 

The practice specialises in designing care facilities which includes working on all aspects of a project from inception, local authority consultations, detailed building and landscape design and the delivery of a project from construction to completion.
